Training sessions on “Organizing and practical activity on protection of domestic violence” have been held for young lawyers on October 23 and 30. Rovshana Rahimli, a member of the Bar Association and an expert in the field of domestic violence, gave theoretical information to the participants in the first week, spoke about the responsibilities of local and international legislation, police and executive authorities.
And on October 30, the participants were involved in specific cases. Young lawyers have established defense mechanisms and conducted practical exercises to organize the protection of women victims of violence. They have also participated in the preparation of documents related to obtaining a protection order from the executive authorities and the involvement of the police.
