One of the main directions of the Institute for Citizen Rights is the conduction of free legal aid to citizens, especially those living in the regions, and the promotion of good governance through the preparation of applications and complaints for citizens. It operates online and in person. Besides, it has local offices in two regions – Ganja and Aghdam.
The organization conducts its legal aid activity in cooperation with the “Benefisiar” Legal Aid Center. The activity is carried out mainly through social networks – “Benefisiar”, “Institute for Citizen Rights” and “Gancapost”. Moreover, Benefisiar’s YouTube, Twitter and Instagram pages also operate in the legal aid direction.
The Institute for Citizen Rights conducts legal aid to more than 400 citizens online every month, replies to their legal questions, prepares their applications and complaints and sends them to the appropriate authorities.
