On March 9, lawyers of the Institute for Citizens Rights Ulkar Hamidli and Aynur Bagirova have conducted legal aid to the families of martyrs and veterans in the Beylagan region. During the day, approximately 27 citizens applied. Amongst the applicants, the families of martyrs, veterans, war veteran unemployed citizens, housewives and people with disabilities have been the majority.
Each applicant was interviewed individually, and their current socio-legal problems were studied. Some of them were provided with relevant legal advice on the spot, and appropriate documentation and notes were carried out.
Citizens’ appeals have mainly been to improve the housing conditions of the families of martyrs, provide them with houses, as well as land, calculation of pensions for war veterans with determined disabilities, employment, refusal to determine the degree of disability, receive the degree of disability, receive the title of a war veteran, determination of the targeted social aid, and alimony issues.
