On December 13, 14 and 15, the lawyers of the ICR have conducted legal aid to war-affected citizens in the cities of Ganja, Barda and Aghdam. During the day, the problems of about 35 citizens were studied and appropriate documentation was carried out.
Citizens in the city of Ganja were mostly informed about real estate, targeted social aid, suspension of disability degree, bank-credit relations, the right to use property, appeals and complaints were prepared.
Appeals were made in the city of Barda regarding employment, social aid, alimony, credit, disability degree and pensions. Lawyers examined the appeals and prepared relevant documents. Besides, booklets on aware-raising of women were also distributed to citizens.
One of the citizens who applied in the Guzanli settlement of the Aghdam district was a war veteran and 7 persons were people with disabilities. The applicants requested aid regarding repairing houses that have been damaged by the war and suspending the disability degree. Lawyers prepared the documents and sent them to the appropriate authorities.
