On April 2, a training on “The role of domestic and international legal tools in the protection of human rights” has been held for young lawyers. The training consisted of theoretical and practical parts.
Human rights expert, lawyer Samad Rahimli, first of all, informed the participants about the nature and types of human rights protection and conducted a comparative analysis of domestic legal and international legal tools. In the practical part of the training, the participants were informed about the rules of writing applications or complaints on the basis of domestic tools, as well as the rules of writing applications to the European Court of Human Rights, and practical discussions were held with them.
And on April 9, a training on “Participation of an attorney in criminal proceedings, legal problems, application of attorney’s tactics in criminal proceedings” was held.
Attorney Fariz Namazli, a member of the Bar Association, briefed the participants on the mandatory participation of the attorney in criminal proceedings, legal problems in practice, as well as the application of attorney’s tactics in criminal proceedings, and held discussions with participants on many practical issues.
