November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The Institute for Citizens Rights (ICR) always protects the rights of women and supports their participation in socio-political processes. Compiles measures to eliminate violence against women and ensure equality in the programs that are implemented. Encourages women to participate in the decision-making process, helps them to unify.
On November 24, the lawyers of the ICR Rovshana Rahimli and Ulkar Hamidli have established the “Empowerment of Women” Initiative Group, and on November 25, lawyers Sevinj Guliyeva and Laman Khalilzada have established the “Women are Back!” Initiative Group. Both initiative groups aim to protect women’s rights, increase their social activities and ensure equality.
The Institute for Citizens Rights (ICR) will continue to contribute to the establishment and expansion of new initiative groups in the future as well.
