On May 7th, a training on “Preparation of a statement of claim” has been held for young lawyers. The training consisted of both theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part of the training, attorney Rovshana Rahimli informed the participants about the duration of the statement of claim, relevance issues, the form and content of the statement of claim, the possibility of the statement of claim, the return of the lawsuit, as well as the documents attached to the statement of claim. And in the practical part of the training, the participants were provided with samples of various statements of claim and extensive discussions were held on those statements of claim.
On May 8th, a training has been held for young lawyers on “History of the use of torture as a legal tool and the reasons for its prohibition as an absolute right”. The training consisted of theoretical and practical parts. Trainer lawyer Emin Aslan informed the participants about the history of the use of torture as a legal tool, the countries that prohibit its use and torture, as well as international legal documents against torture, and in the practical part of the training the participants were presented with assignments on the topic and individual and general discussions were also held with the participants on these assignments.
