On May 12th, 2022, the lawyers of the Institute for Citizen Rights Ulkar Hamidli and Rukhsara Mammadova have conducted mobile legal aid to citizens in the Beylagan region.

During the day, the appeals of approximately 13 citizens (5 women and 8 men) have been viewed. Each applicant was interviewed individually and their current socio-legal problems were studied as well. On this basis, relevant legal advice has been provided on the spot, and appropriate documentation and notes were made. Amongst the applicants, there have been the families of martyrs, veterans, war veterans, people whose properties have been damaged during the war, unemployed citizens, housewives and people with disabilities.

Citizens’ appeals have been related to issues such as the refusal of the determination of disability, improving the living and housing conditions of the families of martyrs, being provided with housing, incomplete construction of housing for people whose homes were destroyed during the war, being provided with arable land for entrepreneurial activities, grating the degree of disability, the amount of unpaid compensation to those whose property was damaged during the war, allocation of the targeted state social aid.
