On May 14th, training has been held on the procedure of individual complaints to the UN bodies that have been established under human rights treaties and on “Legal ethics (to be a lawyer – to be ethical)” for young lawyers. The training consisted of both theoretical and practical parts.
In the first part of the training, lawyer Emin Aslan informed the participants about the UN Conventions on Human Rights, as well as the rules of consideration of individual complaints under these conventions. And in the next part, the participants were informed about the advocacy profession, its main principles, as well as the Law “On Lawyers and Advocacy Activity”, the Provisions of the Regulations on the “Rules of Conduct of Lawyers”, and then the participants were presented questions regarding the topic and extensive discussions were also held.
On May 15th, training on “Grounds for the establishment and termination of the right to use the housing” has been held for young lawyers.
Trainer, teacher of the law faculty of Baku State University, and attorney Anar Mamishov spoke to the participants about the concept and subject of the right to use the housing, and living areas in multi-apartment buildings and held discussions on various court cases. In the end, the trainer answered the questions that were asked by the participants of the training.
